HI i have my van in storage but after replanning the front garden can now get the van in the yard. This i do if doing a quick turn round.
After checking my insurance policy i can keep it at home for very limited times due to the insurance company giving a better discount for being on gold award storage.
I should check your policy before moving permanently.
Thanks for that. We were on a not very secure storage site which had a gate with a padlock on it. It was not an award site of any description. We risked damaging the van each time we took it out as there was a large oak tree in the driveway wich was very awkward to negotiate and beyond that a low wall on a bend. Not good. The field couild be accessed from the neighbouring fields. There was no substantial fencing.
It was all we could get for storage round here so we feel it is safer on our drive behind a high fence and hedge. Who knows!!!!!!!!
Will check on the insurance tomorrow.

'It never ceases to amaze me at just how confrontational'
It is not that people are being confrontational but every time this debate comes up people who keep their vans on their drive are sl*gged off by people who don't. They are accused of making their neighbourhoods untidy and reminded of security risks which are obvious.
I don't see any criticism the other way. Has anyone passed 'judgement' on people who keep their vans in storage? I see no problem with people keeping their vans in storage if that is what they want, but why make 'judgements' and lecture the rest of us?
