Hi,
Another thing to consider is never leave details of your holiday / home address in your van. Thieves have 'phones, if they nick your van and find your address and ferrry / campsite bookings, they know where you live and how long you were planning to be away, you may return home to a burglary. This is modified "old advice" I was given as too never put your return address on luggage at an airport or before you board a Eurostar train in London. More depressing, I've recently returned from a Car rally in the Czech Rebublic where 6 tents, all British (Cars parked nearby) were targetted, cash only being stolen. CZ Police were efficient and presence stepped up immediately. Keep all documents and personal paprwork with you.
regards,
Bill.
