Off to Rowntree park on Sunday for a few nights , first trip since Late October.Van getting a wash and satellite system fitted before we go.

Although we've been to York countless times , it's our first time to Rowntree so will be nice to visit a new site Cant wait to get back out , not too bothered about the weather as York is an all year round sort of place.

marfit head farm at saltersgate on the pickering to whitby road..never been before but seen it from the road and looks nice and in a good location.

Sounds good and just before Saltersgate Bank so no need to worry about that steep hill and bend coming back home! Are the pitches level?

depends where you pitch..the bottom field are hard standing but we went on the top rally field as it was further away from the main road....we needed a ramp to level the van and 4 wheel drive to access the pitch  though as it was soft ground.
