Hi David, hoping to pick new van up in 2-3 weeks. Ours wont go til a week Tuesday. As long as we have it for Oct half term theres no rush.

Now I'm on the hunt for a green full awning with lightweight poles, ideally Dorema Montana or Bradcot Classic. A measurement 940cms so need Size 12 Dorema or a 945 Bradcot. Scouring ebay and free ad sites.

We liked our Bradcot awning but didn't get on with the Dorema.  Funnily enough, we've still got the Bradcot Classic and it's in green and with fibre poles.  Sadly it's a 960cm so would be too big for you.  Also it's 15 years old, so has been around the block a few times and is in need of some repair.  You would probably pick up a decent one on ebay reasonably priced.  You want a 'nearly new' really.  It would be a shame to have a nice new van without a nice new(ish) awning. 

Perhaps you've given me the push to find it out from the depths of our store cupboard and to see if it is any good.  I kept it mainly for the fibre poles 'just in case' I ever need to replace a pole on an 'existing awning'.  Never have done though, so perhaps it's time.

David, we like the Dorema sun canopy we've got at the minute. Theres a size 12 Dorema Montana on ebay (no pics but good description) ending tomorrow not to far from us but it dosent say if poles are steel or lightweight alu. Emailed seller yesterday but no reply yet. Sounds like a bargain at £150

PS. yes, get the Bradcot out and stick it on ebay. Better a bit of cash than sat not being used.
