We must be lucky in that we've not had problems with kids around our 'van. I've heard people saying that CC have too many rules - okay if you don't like rules don't come to CC sites! Leave them to those who appreciate well run sites.
Good Post
We stopped using commercial site's years ago and only use club site's because of unruly behavior by low life's and there feral children

Why is it that it seems to be the kids who are at fault? Everyone has something which annoys them. One thing that gets my goat is people (who I guess are older, but that may not be the case) who have their TVs on so loud I can hear them in my caravan! I'd love to listen to the radio, but I daren't because I love radio 4 and I'm worried I might annoy next door!
CL`s and / or adult only sites or midweek basic club sites when kids are at school is the way forward for us now.
just need some nice ones with no dogs allowed and we`ve cracked it ! ( we like dogs but the amount that yap constantly and do their business then it aint picked up really grates now )
shame its come to that because its great to mix but not at the cost of my nerves and sanity with footballs being kicked about and bikes ridden dangerously close to your property blah blah

Yorkie Terriers, West Highland Terriers, Jsack Russell . . . . Terriers - Someone (who shall be nameless) said they make good footballs. . . . .He might have been Joe King
------------- Peripheral people don`t have as much excitement but they sure live longer
People with yappy dogs have just not tried to resolve the issue.
My 11 month old Bichon used to get hysterical at some people and dogs and she made a massive amount of noise but I got me a battery powered water pistol and after 1 week she is a different dog.

Funny you should say that, peterws. I though that money was tight at the mo' but on a fairly expensive british campsite last summer we saw lots of evidence of apparent wealth in the vehicles barging round the site.
Loadsa money and no breeding.
Hmmm, reading through these posts I detect that the green eyed monster might be rearing its ugly head.
Seems like suddenly it's a crime to be able to afford a nice shiny new van in this day and age, and god help you if you have a nice shiny new 4x4 to tow it with.
Not at all rupert, it was merely an observation. We have a VW 'van which we bought new a couple of years ago.
The thread is about campers behaving badly with no consideration for other campers.
I think on any site you are always going to find something that annoys you.
The thing is when I go to a site I do expect to find others having fun and making a bit of noise, but as I expect it, it doesn't bother me.
I have only had 1 bad experience with a family from hell when I caught two kids who had snook into our tent and was eating our dinner!!! I went out and bought the biggest wind break I could find and blocked them out of sight!
The mother laughed and said the little darlings, aren't they cheeky! Cheeky?????? I thought of far worse words, I can tell you!
