To those who can't understand why I'm upset on the freecycal add I put it must not be resold I maid both promises that what ever happens or what ever they did to it it was to be past on not resold. It sporrans she's given birth to more kids since she got it. One reply the did fix the damp the next they say they didn't lol and if they broke window catches then replacing them is not an issue they were all fine when left. The rule of freecycal are things must not be resold plus I stated it on the add also as well as telling them to there face so 3 instances they have broken rules or there word.
I won't be putting anything on freecycal again as apparently I should only put crap on there that's fit for the bump or becomes I'm too lazy to sell stuff. Just shows what people are like from a few of the replys on here.
Well someone's bid on the van I just hope they can sort the damp out wish they had been honest about it in the add.
I hate lyres and users theirs you do for others the more they walk all over you. Won't be doing anything again

Agree 100% as a decent mod will ban the Freecycler. I don't mind if it is small stuff etc and someone takes the lot, but this is abuse!
Maybe the OP should pretend to be a buyer and visit the people and cause them a bit of embarrassment!
Iv reported them in the site that's all I can do and I have sent her a last message if she's any decency in her this might prick a nerve it might make her think in futer when thing go bad in her life
As you have ignored me and have broken your word not to sell the caravan when you have finished with her but to pass it on . I will leave you with something to keep in mind .
What you do to others will come back to you three fold
Good luck in your future life when things go wrong for you remember karmas a bitch

i have complete sympathy with you fallenangel, i too have given freely with a good will to people and told them to donate said goods to charity as i would of done that in the first place had i not been so 'soft'.
so please do not let this change your lovely personality and keep being who you are.....you have learnt a valuable lesson, choose who you bless with your gifts carefully. gotta love your soul though xx
I used to be on freecycle, I got a few things but I gave more things away. What I observed that some people must permanently sit on their computers because whenever I advertised anything, within a few seconds I received a reply "Yes please" regardless of what I was advertising.
I now give unwanted things to a charity shop, that way I get rid of something and the charity shop can sell it and raise some money.
Never been on freecycle but it will be no different that carboots, charity shops, church bazaars, auctions etc. Monitored by traders looking for bargains to sell on.
I notice the van has been withdrawn as no longer for sale and the 1 bid no longer is showing! Perhaps the seller 's conscience pricked or perhaps just got fed up with all the questions and hassling!
All power to UK CAMPSITE members - a veritable force to be reckoned with !

Enjoyed trailer-tenting,
Now loving caravanning 😊😊
I'm afraid some folk are like that Fallenangel. We did a similar thing with ALL of our baby stuff when a mother close to us here was expecting and had no money. We gave them everything from our attic which was all very good quality stuff. After she had the baby my wife saw her pushing a new buggy along and asked a neighbour about it. She was told this lady bragged about our stuff being given to her and that she'd sold it all to pay for her new bits and pieces.
I'm afraid you have to put it down to where it comes from and let them get on with it. We just took it on the chin and put it down to experience. Everything we get rid of now either goes on Ebay, to a local auction centre or to the tip!!
