Why do the dog owners on here get so defensive at even a hint of criticism from non doggy types?  inevitably followed by comparisons of dogs with children.

Drying unwashed dog bedding in a communal dryer is not on surely, now matter how much you might love your pets.  Fact is lots of us don't love dogs (me included, you might have guessed) and if I had seen someone doing this, I would have felt compelled to complain.  Disgusting

Goodness what a lot of fuss about nothing what about dirty terry nappies or babygrows ect that no different to dog bedding. Well it possibly is as the dog bedding was just muck baby items coud have human waste on them.

This is what I was referring to, and similar comments.   I would agree dirty terry nappies etc. equally disgusting but "what a lot of fuss about nothing?"  Sorry, I don't think imposing your dirty dog bedding on the rest of the site is acceptable - putting it directly into the dryer must have stunk the place out!!

BTW my youngest also has allergies to cats and dogs and not because we have been "over fussy" with her either, going mad with the anti bac.   She can have a severe reaction that is no laughing matter and once ended up in A&E
