Afternoon Lads & lasses hope your well !

Just an update as to where I got to with fridge !!!!!

Just like Trog I forgot about battery & flattened it ! but i did get a temp down to  - 14 in frezzer box !

So thought let's get it running on GAS, & before you start running for the hill's to  late I'v done it!!!! LOL

No leaks no gas ? gas in bottle ! time to start backtracking pipe work !!! All seemed fine so i thought!!!!

Read the book back to front /front to back ? Still not working !!! Then I got pilot light working, BUT not where it should be ! It's working where it should be switched off????

So back to drawing board ! Gas not getting thru valve ? So strip valve down !

And sussed out some silly BA****D has had valve to bit's before   ! No wonder it wasnt working ! In the valve there are three hole's , very small ,small ,bigger which line up with gas out to burner, So with the holes lined up to where they should be we will now be fridgeing on GAS !!! LOL

Just got the flue to clean & make sure exhaust goes to the outside of van !

I still think the 12v timer needs looking into ! LOL or should that be he he he Trog?

Looking forward to your rplys ! you can SHOUT as much as you like I'v not got my earing aids in !!! LOL

there is a spare unused connection in the 12n plug i think.. if you find a live feed you may have to run one back from engine compartment you could wire that up to charge the battery in the van..

you could use a voltage sensing relay or just wire it straight up.. if you wire it straight up put a 30 amp fuse in it..

the snag with no relay is if the car battery is ever flat and the van battery not it will try and draw starter current from the van battery connection.. not likely to happen with a tad of common sense but if it ever did the fuse would blow and prevent wiring damage..

any advice given by me is of the fools rushing in variety and not for the angels.. he he
