Hi romany, As said, there is no LPG facility at Wadebridge so can only assume you mean the Mid Cornwall Services as that’s the only place in the county that matches your description.

It is 25 miles from me, not 8 as your nearest, and as I said is quite recent, with the next nearest being almost 50 miles.

Can’t stress enough that I think it’s a great idea but even the savings, which would take years to pay back the purchase price, don’t compensate for the low number of fill points in general and the inconvenience of having to hunt around for what will likely be a deminishing number.
Simply, if I have to make a special trip to fill up what’s the point?

I use a Tag for foreign motorways-it gives no savings but saves a lot of faffing about for a small outlay.
Safefill is a large outlay with no guarantee of any ease of use or ongoing savings due to, for me, likely having to go out of my way to fill the bloomin thing!

I suspect your right with mid Cornwall services and as you point out one mans meet is another's poison and for me normally spending long times touring and using non facility sites I use a lot of gas so while the original out lay is expensive I soon gained that back especially as I take cyl off the van when home and use the gas.

It is much easier abroad (not Denmark only one refill place in whole country when I went) also I fitted my system so saved on that expense, I don't think the systems a con its a question of doing your homework weighing up the pros and cons and working from there, on the bright side it seems morrisons and aldie are putting some pumps in some places.

still think the two clubs could also put some in to strategic sites its not hard our local water ski centre has put one in to run their boats unfortunately won't let outsiders fill up.

It would be great if they were on sites but the general consensus is on the Safefill facebook page is that CAMC get a fair bit of sponsorship/advertising from Calor and don't want to upset them....

I suspect it is even more fundamental than that, that Calor, not the C&MC own the equipment on C&MC sites?
