We have looked at the site mentioned above we were told that the  £20 tarriff was for businesses only.  The tarrif for personal use is £35 per month.  Not such a hot deal methinks.

Try T-mobile Web n Walk at £29 per month.  Initially I opted for airtime manager but the new USB modem is pretty useless with it preventing my laptop from shutting down.  Also had problems when switching it on with the USB modem in place.  Sent it back under the 14 day returns policy and switched to a T-mobile web n walk card.  No problems now.  In addition, their techie guys were very helpful when I had one or two questions.  http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/

Fogey this thread appears to be ancient so I guess maybe the packages have changed?

I ran up a £700 bill because I was given incorrect info by Orange.  I had it in writing that a 1Gb download would only cost me £4 per gigabyte.  It turned out to be £4 per megabyte.  I am in the process of taking it to the small claims court to reclaim my money.  So beware!

We've been told to wait and see what develops and are not personally keen anyway on signing up to an extra monthly package contract. But we noticed that Options 2 and 3 on the BT Home hub includes 250 free wifi minutes per month for use at the hotspots. We were also told that the BT home router is a good bit of kit. So we're wondering whether we'll just swap ISP provider to BT and make use of the increasing number of hot spots whilst waiting to see how the market develops. All the Pay As You Go cards seem to have disappeared. I know we can't use it in the caravan, but at least we could do banking and e-mail in the towns. Downside = carrying the lappy in the car. Is anyone using this BT service please?

No.  They are still advertising the £20 package but you have to plough through the FAQs to discover that this package is only available to businesses.  I have suggested that they make it very clear on their website that this package is not available to non business customers.

We're not using BT but we are considering using Cloud because they have lots of hot spots.  You can buy a prepay username and password on-line.

Hi there, we have a BT home hub but haven't used our away from home minutes yet but are considering doing so.  As far as BT internet is concerned at home we have found it very reliable and also have BT Vision with on demand TV.  The hub has a phone with various free minutes included on it.
