Like Richard63 I recently bought a Landcruiser 3.0 auto and get 22mpg however hard I try to be light on the right foot. Great tow car though.

Spooky!!!

Still got my Korando, but no caravan now.

Just been too busy to post any messages on here, but I still like to dip in and out when I can.

How's your Korando going?

If you need any bits for it, I can recommend a few good places.

You've opened a can of worms here!!

My Citroen C5 estate diesel does better than 50mpg solo and 35mpg towing a 1400  kg van.  Used to tow with Volvo estates,  much richer now.

Hiya Mad Cow

We tow with a Nissan Primera Estate 2.0 injection and we don't rate it very good - solo it does about 32 mpg (around town etc) towing it does about 23 mpg.  We've got an ABI Daystar 2 berth.

That's why I ask him to push the caravan for a time!

Russdude; I am a little nosy and curious.

Can't seem to find a C5 Estate that would safely tow a 1400 kg van, using the 85% rule.

I could be wrong....often am

Hi Pete, you seem to be doing much better on the MPG with your CR-V than we are with ours!!

We don't get above 40 on a trip and this drops to around 25 towing a 1350Kg van, fully laden that is.

How heavy is the wife........LOL??

I have absolutely no imagination so my Ssangyong club name is also Bacon Sandwich!

Try an email to sales at koreancarspares.co.uk for the cable. He sorts me out with everything I need and can get bits from Korea in a few days.

Let me know how you get on.

You should have been at Orchards, Al. Not even the Shoguns/Pajeros could get off without the vintage tractor to give us a tow..

Only Kev's 4 x 4 made it off on it's own, and he had a downhill run at the gateway.

Just spotted this, the Jeep had no problem getting on and off, we didn't need the tractor!!!
