Hi Dawn i know its a while since you posted this message, i looking for some advice we are the moment looking for a seasonal pitch in the lakes, i see that from your post that you have your van sited there, can you recomend any that may have vacancies cheers

hi all do not want a seasonal pitch yet,i do like the idea for the future.out of interest how do you go on with the insurance if sited for seasonal or all year.does it cost more?are there any sites they object too on a security base?[:o)]

Hi Michael, we did have to do quite a bit of searching to find a company to insure our seasonal tourer, it stays on pitch all year, the more security measures you have the better. They insisted on high fencing, and a certain number of seasonal caravans at all times. We were lucky as we are on a large site that has statics too so it has high security standards, we also chained our caravan to the pitch and had an alarm fitted that alerts security in the office if anything is amiss.
