Haha, you've started a trend in woodsmoke swirl fabric .It looks fab with the floor done ,more modern looking great colour match for the cabinets as well. Oh , maybe I will get the floor done now , yours looks so much tidier than mine .
I took the sewing machine with me and sat in the awning doing the scatter cushions, got some bemused looks.
I did a couple of the bolster arm rest cushions too, just rolled up a thin bed pillow to fill them
. I'm not very happy with my front curtains, they are lined but they let too much light in. I havent got any blinds on my front windows , so may take them down and get some blackout lining put on them.
I also replaced the kitchen area roller blind with a coffee colour plain one.It was white with pink and blue flowers on it before.
But the one I bought was too narrow. I hadn't measured , just guessed it was about 24 inches, but it was more like 30.
so I cut it off the roller, turned it sideways and sewed a channel on the bottom for the original bar to go into. Its only about 18 inches deep.
I cut the original one off its roller leaving about 3 inches and sewed the new one onto it, and stitched the little pull thingy on .. sorted.
I've got loads of fabric left over , even though I've made half a dozen scatter cushions for at home too.
I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to work with for such a heavy fabric. Even the popper tape was no problem .
I'm sending off material for my buttons this week to finish it off properly.
One of my long seat cushions is a bit too baggy ,the one on the right, so I'll have to open the back seam and redo that one.Its only about half an inch too long .
The rest are quite a tight fit and didnt crease at all after sleeping on, but the baggy one was looking stretched the next day.
Just mentioning this for anyone else thinking of doing theirs , they have to be tight or they will crease eventually.
I have also been checking the thread every day, waiting for Sue to post her pics too.
