When we were at Clumber a couple of years ago my brother in law saw a naked lady in her van as he walked past, getting up off her bed!! Now that'd get the old curtains twitching.

laughable ---- generalisation alert !! Caravan club sites are littered with people who are more concerned with how new, or expensive their caravan is and how clean their 4x4 is than they are about getting out and seeing the area they have supposedly gone to visit.

Adopt a rescue, rescue dogs make great pets, don't support puppy farms.
The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.
will we be allowed on the C.C. site at Much Wenlock over the jubilee holiday our car is over 10 years old the van is 20 years old car is not a 4 x 4. What will we do no one will speak to us and no one will to want to pitch near us.
O well we will do what we usually do get out and about and see the sites will not have time to take notes of who passes our pitch.

And anyhow if its got a loo and a shower thats reasonably clean who cares. You spend 20 mins a day in there having a couple of showers etc, I'm there for the great outdoors and admittedly a decent pint in a local pub.
Club sites have minimum standards that they all meet or exceed, they are nice< but don't be fooled into thinking they are the be all and end all.
Another ridiculous post ..Laughable
How deluded you are if you really think people (C.C memebers)worry how clean there car is or how new there van is

Laughable; it is that. So many people spell out how they prefer to spend their time on sites, then go on to pillory others because they are 'different'. We have three tenets: (1) We endevour to find a site where and when it suits US. (2) On site, we observe all the rules, especilly those applicable to consideration for other campers. (3) Beyond that, we live and do the things that suit US.
Jeez. No wonder wardens and site owners go grey prematurely!
