Called into Highbridge caravans today and had a look at the Venus range.
Quite impressed with the build quality off a four models in the range.
Could obviously see where the savings are made with this budget range but still well worth considering at the price.
The two smaller models 300/2, 380/2 front seating however is not long enough to allow two singles and both models will require the double to be made up.
This is quite surprising in the 380/2 but is due to the long low sideunit on the nearside and the kitchen sink/ hob on the offside. This model has the benefit of a decent end washroom though.
We saw a fixed bed 490/4 recently on site and the young couple who had just picked it up were delighted with it, I liked the look of it but was eager to see the 500/4 model with the single beds.
I must say I was not disappointed with this model today, plenty of room in it with a good end washroom and decent seating area at front which as the smaller models can only be used for children if the double is not made up. Any larger children or adults would require the double to be made up.
Overall definately worth considering if you are after a budget range van.
