Hi ! i am new to this site ( first time ) Have just bought a elddis wisp ? anyone know anything about them  think its a 1994 or there abouts. Not done caravanning before.

Hi Shelle, welcome to ukcampsite.co.uk not had an eldiss myself. If you have specific questions about the van, heating/lecky/gas or other then it is easier if you can give us the item make and number as most of them are the same through several ranges of caravans.
As was also said earlier it is sometimes easier if you start a new topic about your caravan and if possible include pictures of any areas that you are not sure about.
Hope you enjoy the new lease of life that caravanning brings to you, it certainly is another way of life and an extremly enjoyable one!

cheers
Papa

Got any pictures yet Tim, neighbours of mine had a 70's Monza a few years, and a house, back, really good solid van. As I always say the older vans where built to a much higher degree of expertise!

Hi guys & thanks for the welcome.

Paul & Wendy... your web site is what inspired me to buy the van in the first place. I knew it was for sale & needed work, liked the van but was a bit worried about taking it on. But actually seeing pictures of how it can be done on the same van model  & how it all fits together & what a good finish you got to yours inspired me to go for it!

Papa, thanks for the tips & pointers to other sections of the site that I haven't investigated yet... I'm on my way there now!

I've taken the tip about starting a new topic onboard as well, thanks.

Hi Steve, your welcome, don't know if you know the rest of the Fixed it Sguad but I think most of their websites are now available here, they certainly do make it all look easy, just wish i had a camera and website 9 years ago when i did mine, maybe start again and refresh it all soon so i can become a full member of the Fix it crew and do me own repair website, in the meantime I am happy enough to be able to help out where I can with advice built up over a long time in camping and caravanning, from 3 months to this weekend (fly me notice the lack of years and months! lol!

And of course if there are any other Fix-it members out there then drop me an e-mail with your addy for the website and I will gladly point to your site from the above link as well.!
