the other club has all year round booking why not CCLUB? trying to do it all on one day is crazy.
The CC has all the year round booking, it's not the CC that tries to book everything on one day just a large minority of the clubs members who feel that if they have not booked their holidays at sometime during the first day that bookings for the next year, that they have somehow failed.
hi,if it has all year round booking why did we need to wait for the 17th of december to book for 2009 ? with our main holiday at keswick which is CCClub i booked it on the 6/11/08.i know i am repeating myself,if you have children and you want to go to a perticular site at a set time and date and you do not book in time it will be full up and you can not go.not being rude just stating the facts.if i did not book in time and he could not go then i have failed him.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.

Each organisation is different, they release holidays for booking when they have sorted out their brochures and sorted out their prices. The CC choose to release their booking for the next year at the beginning of december others choose a different date. I know of one Cl where it is impossible to book as the owner allows people who are leaving to book the same time next year, and because of it's position and price that is what most of them do. At least by waiting till December and then releasing them everybody for whom it is imperative that they go to one particular site at a particular time gets the same chance of booking. If you are restricted by dates then being a little bit flexible you would have no problem booking later ( not necessarily as I do booking a couple of weeks before I go ) but avoiding the rush on the first day.
We booked earlier this year for Southport & received confirmation. A few days before we were due to go I rang to see if we could add a few days on & begin our holiday earlier. I was told we weren't even booked in & now it was full. We ended up at Yarmouth. No explanation was given. Talk about stressed!!
