OOOh Mark can't wait to hear what everyone's reaction was!!! So you've obviously managed to save your £1000 needed to buy the 'van but i've just got ask is that the price Oliver thinks it must cost or what you actually needed to save lol? Have your parents seen it yet? With a 'van that size you really do need a motor mover. We thought our Avondale was long and heavy but compared to our "Honey" she was nothing lol. Motor movers are just like a big kids toy, we love moving our 'van now. Luckily i'm a good wife and always let dh have a go 1st lol
Sorry Avctaylor i knew you had 3 but not what ages they were lol. I'll still forget though as i am terrible :( But not long till Monday...
Grumbley the dealer threw the plug in with the extra's. We had been quoted from £90 - £150 at the other dealers. So was pleased with the saving there.
It's my birthday in Feb and dh has the weekend after it off so hopefully we will be going away then. As it will only be for the weekend then i'm thinking we might go to Grafham Water as that's only about an hours drive from home. And i'm hoping it will be a site we fall in love with as its not too far away for weekends and has a swimming pool. Our new porch awning should have arrived by then so we can try that out :)
Oliver thought that the whole van was £1000, I guess they don't ready have a idea of what things cost.
I had to call my parents a bit earlier than I wanted to... the van got stuck on the cul-de-sac and needed them to help... I did set up the digi camera up, but you couldn't ready see my mum's reaction very well... They been around tonight again, for a night time viewing :-)
The boys went crazy when we got home, and I had to keep the van locked for it's safety. Took them in it after dinner for a look and to test the beds out. They wanted to sleep out there tonight ;-)
The van's off to storage Saturday morning :-(
Mark.
