I got the email as well but the only club site we are planning to use next year isn’t included in the discount.

well surprise surprise, just had a new e-mail this morning from camc, and they are reducing prices for next year on 60 club sites, with up to 15% discount,
admitted theres only one club site with 15% off and thats Hillhead, most discounts are 6,7,8,10%
so maybe they are listening ,or maybe bookings are down

Manny people do not want to pay a deposit and book so far in advance especially with the daily changing economic status quo.

I never mind paying a deposit to book, in fact I expect to, but I never book very far in advance. A month is further ahead than I would usually book, it's normally between two days and two weeks.

We don't object to paying a deposit, but who wants to book so far in advance as you never know what the new year is going to bring.

I have to agree with everything stated about how much the prices have gone up. The membership was £63 this year and the main campsites are beyond a price I’m willing to pay them. Even the CL sites are starting to get to the prices similar to what you pay if you book onto a private site.
I will be cancelling it this year after being a member since 2012, which is a shame, but they have definitely got greedy.
We used to enjoy going to the Brighton site however now in June we are looking at between £40 and £47 per night for the two off us… for the seven nights I looked at we would had to have paid £280… if I went for August they want £349.10.
Once you add fuel and everything else on, it is no longer a reasonably priced holiday.

Just about to book a CL in a village where my family live to make attending a big birthday celebration easier, and to lend a hand with the preparations and clear up in the days either side.

£30/night for just me in a caravan plus £1 for the dog, yes they charge an extra £1/night for the dog even though they provide NOTHING for that fee! The site has no toilet or shower facilities for a shocking £31/night!

Resent being robbed, but the site is only a few hundred yards from the event, so is very convenient.

Wouldn't normally consider paying that much, especially for a site devoid of facilities, but will suffer a few days this time simply because it serves a very specific purpose!

£25 maximum here, there are still plenty of sites for that or less, but metered electricity is becoming more common. The price of electricity has decreased, but have the sites decreased their prices? No chance!

Same maximum figure here. We prefer sites with metered electricity as that way we only pay for what we actually use, rather than paying anything up to £10 a night for "having the facility of electricity" when we probably use £2 worth at the most, and probably not even that.
