Hi

I am the proud owner of an Eldis Wisp 510   and have lovingly made new curtains and generally spruced it up...

However can anyone advise me what should go on the outer door to secure it to the side of van (when you want to leave door open)   The door has nothing too attach to, and the plastic glass of door seems to touch plastic glass of kitchen window (if you know what I mean)

Does anyone have the same van with the same problem or does anyone have any ideas how I can remedy it?!?!?

Oh yes its a 1991 model

thanks in anticipation hilary

as you can see,you will need to get someone to fit it,as the door needs a hole to fit it,and sealed on both the side and the door to prevent water ingress.if you look at the drawing it shows the lock going through the door, side view.

Have a look on eBay. Caravan accessories/door retainers. There are lots of different types. Some are just a 'U' shaped plastic push clip and some are roller clips. The one shown above looks a bit dramatic to me and must screw right through the door.
