loopyou007,
That's incredible, but I am not surprised.
I have been reading through various articles and the caravan/camping/motorhome industry is going through a very bouyant stage at the moment with most of them producing up to 20% increases in sales demand. It just goes to show that the overseas holiday trends look like slowing down as people are fed up being ripped of with so called holiday "offers" and free child places etc. and are now opting for an alternative kind of holiday which, they can have throughout the year and, for many years to come, weather permitting.
I also read that caravan/camping parks are getting more and more difficult to get onto these days, which proves the sales figures mentioned above.
We will all probably continue to have our holidays abroad I suppose but, I must admit I for one haven't missed them over the past couple of years and have enjoyed the caravan and meeting people far more enjoyable than cheap foreign beers and hassled to go into bars, restaurants etc.
