I have only just discovered that the little bits of velcro sticky backs things that came with the caravan are to keep your carpets in place! Just took two years and many senior moments.

- and I've got a length of soft translucent plastic (about 1 metre long), with a sort of gutter shape to it, which came with my previous caravan & awning. I've had it for several years now and still haven't worked out what it is
.... but I am keeping it in case I need it some day !!!
You know, Ulti-Mates, you've just reminded me that we had a piece of white plastic left over from putting up the awning and I don't know what it was for . I'm not even sure where it is now - I wonder if my OH "put it away" as he didn't know what to do with it either!
Must check out the Isabella site to see if we can figure it out! The only other problem we had was that the studs on the skirt thing to cover the wheel didn't quite match up with those on the caravan itself so we just had to leave that bit. Still got one from the Dorema awning for our previous 'van so we'll see if it fits this one.
Cheers all - I thought we'd done really well but now it seems we did something of a half-***ed job of putting up this new Isabella!!

But my clear plastic thingy is from a Dorema (or perhaps it has nothing to do with either the caravan or the awning).
Sometimes there is a strip of white plastic with a channel along each edge, for joining the awning skirt and and the wheel cover - maybe that's what yours is?
- We never bother with the wheel cover as we can't bear the prospect of fitting press studs to the side of the van . Instead we use a lightweight corrugated plastic estate agent's 'for sale' sign, which is plain white on the back and we 'insert' this into the wheel arch to cover it.

Wot a really brilliant idea! I knew estate agents had something to offer. How did you acquire said for sale sign or shouldn't I ask?
Oh that was the easy part. We woke up one morning to find said sign laying in our garden, having been 'lobbed' over the wall by person/s unknown!!! It wasn't the first time we acquired one - but didn't find a use for it until we took up caravanning.
- It just needed the two sides pulling apart, a bit of trimming and hey-presto, one free, lightweight, portable wheel arch cover and it flexes just enough to snugly insert it between the wheel spat and the wheel.
Thanks, Ulti-Mates - white plastic with a channel down each side sounds exactly like our mystery piece!
If our 'van hadn't come with press studs already fitted, we wouldn't have fitted them but, since they're there, we'll give it a go... or look out for a lost estate agent's sign..!
Thanks again,
