Just bought a 620/6, can't wait to take it away although family stayed in it on our drive over Xmas which gave us a chance to assemble all the beds other than the fixed one!!
Having gone from a 2 berth to this we are looking forward to being able to go to bed without the usual aerobic workout of converting the lounge/seating area into a double bed.
Also means in the morning we can have a cuppa with somewhere to sit before putting the bed away again - deep joy!!!
The layout is great, the non permenant beds are easy to make up and I am sure when the awning goes on it will be a real home from home. (Will probably have more space than our house)

Let the rest of the world get on with it- whatever it is!!!!
How lovely to see a whole thread on Bailey with no-one slating them. We've got the 520/4 GT60 on order, the nearside fixed bed. Have had a 520/4 for 7 years and been delighted with it.

Hi everyone, we have a Bailey ranger 620/6 2007 for sale. If anyone is looking for one of these fantastic vans please let me know......JulesR
Just bought our Bailey Ranger 620/6 2007 after a tree fell on our Hobby 540UK. Much loved van for 7 years and 3 kids from babies but sadly I had to gut it this afternoon awaiting the scrap man to collect and take it to meet it's maker (or probably some repairer who will sell it on again!).
Swithered over the Ranger and the Sprite Quattro but only found 1 of these in our price range in Scotland so the Ranger it was. can't be bad with the number of awards it's won.
HAD to have the full window at the front - like the Hobby - nothing better than opening it up full and gazing at the views of Skye/Oban withe a cup of coffee in the morning!
Looking forward to the full bed - I've head they are really comfy. I got stiff lying on the cushions on the hobby and a faff having to get everyone up to start the day rather than having a nice cuppa in the back bed whilst the kids will eat breakfast and watch TV in the morning! Can't wait for 2 weeks hols in a few weeks time.
Kitchen looks massive and the front seats are 6ft long so I can even stretch out myself.
Also - bought it with future proof in mind - when the kids get older and don't want to come, we'll have our own fixed bed with plenty of space up front.
Downsides - being a 2007 model it is showing it's age a little - utilitarian fittings in some places. The lino flooring looks like it's from a factory floor - shame no false wood effect. The units are the darker beech vs fresh & light wood you get these days. Still, at £9.5k with 2 awnings and immaculate condition, fully serviced from new - can't complain.
Better than a hobby with a tree stuck in it anyway.
7 years happy caravanning and hopefully many more to come!
Reading the start of this Post brought back memories, I posted that I loved the van but was keeping my Ace and using the money to landscape the garden. I now have the GT60 620/6, and the garden is only half finnished. Hubby has promised the garden will be done by the end of the summer and we love the van.
