Does anyone have one of these awnings or have any advice or opinions on them ? we've also been looking at the Sunncamp Ultima and the Outdoor Revolution ( when they're in stock) all comments /advice welcome
Got one, and it's an excellent piece of kit. It's taken us several times to figure out how to get it to pitch right, but now we've got it, it's great. It more than copes with a family of four for a week, including keeping bikes inside at night - we had six sat inside, with room to spare, when eating on a chilly evening over easter.
We can get this set up in about 20 mins now, and comes down even quicker.

What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it's all about....?
I really like the look of those awnings...it's a bit difficult to get hold of them, not in stock near us till mid May and there's only one place that sells them that we know of.. I'll have to put my name down for one.
We have the Ultima 260 and it is fab. Every time we are on site somebody comes over and asks us about it. You have to peg it under the van to pull the side walls close to the van then it is fine.
I like those as well Ali, I think I'll have to see them both in a shop to decide which I prefer..they are like gold around here! ( especially when we want a blue one)
It'll have to be, I am fed up getting into a lather with the porch awning. I'd swear blind the full awning is easier but just want something for the week-end if you pardon the expression
Yep I promise you it is easy peasy, even I could do it if I had to! Hammering it into the hardstanding base is less fun though, oh the joys of a serviced pitch!
You won't be disappointed I promise, it is very roomy inside because it doesn't slope as much as a lot of the others do so you benefit from the full area inside.
Yes we are well equipped with rock pegs these days after a holiday in the French Alps. Fortunately somebody on here warned us we'd need them so we stocked up.
The awning you mention is similar but by a different manufacturer. I picked up my Ultima 260 this morning and although I have not erected it yet, I did take it out of the bag to have a decko and it looks like it will do the business. My wifie and I are having a minor disagreement as to whether to put eyelets in the mudwall and peg it out with the little plastic mushrooms ( I have these for our original porch awning) she says it wont be necessary but I dont like the thought of the thing flapping about !!!!
Just got back from a nice week-end at a super little Cl near Newark. The Ultima awning didnt look right when it was first erected, I couldnt get it to sit right against the van walls. I remembered that it said somewhere that it fits vans up to a height of 2m45cms and our Bailey is 2m50cms. I thought about it for a while, not thinking that 5cms was going to make a difference ( yes I know, my wife said it first) but it apparently does. I bit the bullet and cut 4-5 inches of the 3 fibre glass poles and it now sits snug against the van. I have to say it is a neat little awning and much more spacious than our conventional porch awning.
