Hello there,We have just bought our first caravan and are having real difficulty storing it near to home.It is on the drive at the moment but as a temporaty measure until we can make arrangements.I have hit a brick wall when it comes to storage.I gave searched the site here for storage sites but they are all fully booked and I wondered if anyone knows of anywhere in the Bradford or Halifax area that would offer storage facilities.

Fiona, we have ours stored at Calder Caravan Storage in Luddenden Foot, not sure about availability you`ll have to ring & enquire, use the company listings link at the top to find them.

There is a caravan storage place on the road from Halifax to Hebden Bridge. 3 miles or so before Luddenden Foot so I don't think it is the same one as Mickey's.

Don't know the name or whether it's listed. The address is probably Trimmingham, Halifax. Sorry it's a bit vague but they may have some space. Their main business is vintage car hire [weddings] so you may find the phone number trying that route.

We used to store at Jaqmille farm in Tong.

You go through Tong, (towards Leeds) and as you get through the village it is down the hill on the left hand side.

Security is fantastic. We only left as we decided to pave the back garden to take the van to make it more convenient.

There is exceptional storage at Albion Caravan Storage at the moment it is gold accredited in Huddersfield plenty available and it has only just opened but places are going fast.

After getting our van broken into a short while ago we decided that we would have to put it into a more secure area and found this gem.  www.albioncaravanstorage.co.uk it is located very conveniently in huddersfield and the people who look after the storage take pride in everyy van that goes in their.  After onlyt a short while of being shown around the facility both my wife and I had made our minds up because Mick as he likes to be known refers to each van and knows the owners and takes an interest in all the vans.  A full in and out auditing system is also in place.

Peace of mind is better than the break in we endured.

Thank you keep them coming as the ones I have tried that are suitable are full at the moment.I have put our name down so hopefully we will eventually get a place somewhere!.

I really appreciate your efforts on this one as OH has just dented the side of the van trying to put our wheelie bin out so you can imagine the tight squeeze it is.
