Now that the warmer weather is with us, when your van is in storage, do you still take the seats up and away from the windows, or do you leave them down?
Hi all, Still think it is best to leave seats up to let as much air circulate around the van as possible....If you use it every weekend I guess it would matter so much.....always leave the blinds down (or curtains closed) in the strong sunlight though........

I thought I read on this site not to leave blinds down for long periods of time?
I read that - as it puts extra stress on the winders - however I have put mine away for a couple of weeks, moved all the cushions off, opened all the cupboards, and closed all the blinds - don't want the sun to fade the upholstery - am I doing the right thing or should I close the curtains instead?
I close the front blinds where our seats are but leave the sides open and the rooflight flyscreen closed to allow the sun to warm the van to a degree through the day.
When we did close all the blinds it seemed like the warm outside & cool inside along with the day/night-heat/cool cycle were causing slight condensation problems.
Some people say to leave blinds up as it puts stress on spring when down for long periods and some say to leave blinds down to stop sun damage. I personally leave blinds down when not in van have not had a problem with stressed springs but have seen faded upholstery (UV damage) nosing round older caravans on Dealers forecourts.
