...and I can tell you this Summers alot more fun than winter, gone are those nights of standing in the rain and wind in the dark filling up my aquaroll! a real pain as Andrew Ditton warned me!

But all in all pretty good, in 6 months got through 4 bottles of gas, approx 150 fills of the aquaroll and 3 caravans, but also managed to give up smoking and cook on a barbeque without burning everything!

Hello again James, glad you're enjoying yourself, we arn;t far behind you. and yes the  summer is looking good so far and the mud is now behind us hopefully,. got into a bit of a routine with the water / etc, takes me about 10 mins every morning to fill the aquaroll .empty toilet and waste,we are still behind a pub on a CL site so I get this done in the mornings before they open up as the emptying point is close to the beer garden.  we will be moving down to Devon / Cornwall for about a month on tuesday first stop is Ross Park for 10 nights after that no idea yet, will spend a couple of days looking for sites when we get there, keep having fun and try not to get through any more vans and don't burn the steaks. .........Mark & Jan

won't be able to stop off on the way down but never know maybe on the way back, dogs getting big now hes just turned 12 mths now and around 7 stone,we did  origionally look at some of the yank stuff but economy and size put us off and they also all seem to  look very 70's inside, the site we are on has another 3 vans on most of the time and we are all full timers one couple have been around here for nearly 3 years now, there are another 3 CL's very close by,  we also took on a small lock up nearby so we could thin out the caravan contents a bit and store more gear for the car boots...Mark

hiya Claire, yes do live in it all year around. Well the caravans, my 1st was a 17ft LMC Fixed bed and realised it was way to small after about a week, so sold that and bought a Bailey Senator Indiana, which was better, but then decided I wanted more space and was going to get a twin wheel LMC (Great value, big and well built), so sold my Bailey was about to get a LMC and then one of my fave and most used sites said I would not be allowed in with it!! so after a great deal of searching I bought my lovely 03 Elldis scirocco which just about suits me fine and should be keeping it for a good while (especially after i lost over £2k selling the other two!)

This full timing sounds good, are there many doing it James? I guess you're restricted to so many days at one place so you just move down the road & back again do you?

Hiya BasilB, there are a surprising number of people doing it actually, motorhomes seem to be getting quite a popular way of fulltiming (ok if you got the money to buy one in the 1st place and run it!).

You can move around a bit, but for intstance at the Brighton Caravan club site your allowed down there a maximum of 28 days, and then theres a clause so you cant return for a certain period of time, cant quite remember how long, but its a few months. Alot of sites do this so that no one can be counted as A resident..

It is good but can be expensive down here in the South, on average I suppose I pay £80-£90, sometimes more.

cheers James
