I thought about ebay that they arnt selling in febuary so i thought sod it ill try anyway , i put a reserve of £1500 and a buy it now for what i paid for it (£2500) it was a 1990 globetrotter. i got fed up with it on me drive and OH wouldnt put it in storage I had loads of intrest and 30 watchers it was only on 2 days listed for 10 and a couple from milles away from me bought it now. chuffed to bits i was and so was they, only cost me 6 quid to put it on and i got every penny back to what i paid for it.Oh said noway i wouldnt get that.soon shut him up when i had £2500 in me hand
I find that if you put loads of decent pics on ebay of whatever your selling it will sell.
Wait for a free listing day and try for nowt lol it might surprise you as it did me.
Now i have another caravan on me drive but this 1's newer and was for free (given to me by mum n dad) lol not again
Thanks for you advice! I'm in two minds whether to put it on ebay because of all the dodgy things you hear! Was waiting to see what response I got from my other ads first. Have had quite a few interested so let's see

lol yeah u do hear dodgey things on ebay , ive been scamed out of £50 for some sleeping bags....Bear in mind when u place it on ebay i put....... You are bidding to buy not to kick the tyres,,, no timewasters as i will name and shame and leave negative feedback.... bidders under 10 feedback please contact first or bid will be cancelled...you are welcome to view before bidding....
I always put this and it seems to keep the timewasters away ive sold 1 caravan and 4 cars on ebay so far...(bet i just jinxed meself ) lol
I always put them on around teatime then the auction will end round about the same time you listed.... as meny people are at work before auction ends gives them time to get home and bid....Also i like to list on sat/sun for 7 days so it ends on a weekend or work it out to end on sat/sun(10 days) more chance for bidders and collection same weekend. You can also put in listing that you want a deposit of £100 straight away through paypal or cheque (within 3 days), which ever you prefer just to deter timewasters too
Just been on a forum onebay and they've said very similar to you Melanie. Ask for a deposit via paypal and not to accept full amount via paypal. Basically just told me to be careful and be aware of scams!
I gather my friend emailed you last night regarding your caravan and that you or, your husband is going to call him tonight, good luck. He seems very keen.
P.s, I won't charge commission !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He emailed me and I asked him for his number so my husband could talk to him face to face cos it's easier to explain everything but he never replied!Has he spoke to you since last night? And thanks for not charging commission lol!
