We have a late 2004 Lunar 640 twin axle and I have had a look at the tyres but I cannot make out the brand. It has GTR 378 in large letters on the side walls and all the usual writing but no obviously brand name, however they are made in China. The van is on a seasonal and the off side tyres get very little direct sunlight on them and at the moment look okay. However in the not to distant future we are hoping to go roving again but there have been a number of posts regarding a certain make of tyre that has raised concerned due to blow outs. Any one any idea of the brand of tyres on Lunars?
any common tyre make will do.ie avon ect.go for 6 or 8 ply tyres to be safe. reinforced tyres and balanced is important too. they are now saying 4 to 5 years old change anyway whatever the history.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
