We are still new to all this so apologies if this has been covered before!
We went to Ashbourne in April and had no probs with TV reception, went two weeks later to Filey and could not get anything at all through the Status 315?? aerial, not even a grainy picture. We put it down to bad area and didn't bother about it.
Last weekend we went to Bakewell, and again no signal at all. However the people either side of us using the same aerial were getting decent picture. We assumed it was the aerial that was faulty as the TV works fine in our house. Again we went without tv all weekend which didn't bother me but my OH was gutted!
On arriving home, we plugged everything in again and it worked straight away. We are therefore assuming that even thought the people either side of us were getting a picture we must have been in a dead spot? My OH has now been out and bought one of the long aerial on a pole thingy's as he says he is not going to Cornwall for a week and not watching any TV!!
Have we done the right thing or are we missing something completely obvious???
All suggestions / tips gratefully received
