 We are in both clubs.

Mainly for the meets and rallies.

Would never go back to a commercial site now.

But as some one has said, each to their own!

Only been with the CC cos we like the magazine and the standard of sites is invariably good. They are better at policing noise and miscreants as well which we also like. The CC is aware that there aren't enough touring pitches and on the last site they had decided to stop seasonal pitches. If more touring spaces are freed up, we'll stick with the CC.

We have just started caravaning - 7 months ago.   We joined the caravan club beacuse we knew nothing and needed some help.   They have been fantatsic and so have the wardens on site.  We pulled up to our first CC and I was told to take the worried look off myself as everything will be alright  - and it was.   Immaculate facilities, helpful advice, someone to help even with our very basic and sometimes obvious questions.   Now we are a little more confident we stay at non cc sites also but I have to say the continued help, their magazine, thier website etc is invaluable to us as beginners.   O and I had to ask for help from their Legal department once concerning the purshase of our new van and this was free of charge and quite brilliant.
