Hi all

I have just purchased an avondale 470-2, 2003 and am thinking of buying a porch awning. We already have a full awning but due to doing lots of weekend shows have decided a porch awning would be very useful. How do they fix on to the van and do all awnings fit all vans. I have seen one on ebay I would like to bid on (a trigano ) but not sure if it will any good for my van?? Please advise

rattyhorses post is correct n terms of height, althought i would say a "0" was missing off the height, 25cm or around 10" is a rather small Awning

Apart from the height look online for the width and measure where you would want to place your Porch Awning just to make sure your not going to fowl any windows, door or external light.

In my opinion don't bother with any Awning unless is a quick errect Awning as you are defeating the objective.

ooooooops lol yep i did miss the zero off should off been 250cm  my own fault for not reading what i had put, mind you the 10" awning could of been for my daughters barbie caravan lol

just check if your awning rail is at the edge of your van and not 2-3 inches down (cus me friend just sold there avondale golden osprey 2004 model )but they had difficulty getting one because the roof is tappered at the edges so the rail is actually on the side.
