It looks really good value.  We have a rhyno mover and are very happy with it, but if I was in the market for a mover I would give this serious consideration.  Check the length of warranty as five years is the norm.

I like the look of that and it's more in our price range, so I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if anyone else has bought one

The warranty does seem an issue as its only 2 years but then again I've found a brand new one delivered for a couple of quid under £600 making it just about in my price range and not much more than second hand Trumas/Carvers & Powrwheels go for.  I simply can't afford a new one of the major brands, but I would like to hear from someone who's got one before I make my mind up.

Thanks

Mike

i have just ordered the Rhyno and did consider the enduro. i decided against it as it is by the same people who do the purpleline hitchdrive and i have never heard a good word about them. Therefore it is probably made up of cheap parts and the warranty is only 2 years as giving any longer would be commercial suicide.

the Rhyno isn't a great deal more and i feel for an extra £175 you get a lot more for your money. If you have £600 then £775 isn't much more for peice of mind. i haven't heard a bad word against the rhyno mover.

We have a rhyno and are really pleased with it.  You don'y get any different functions with it but at least the quality is proven and the warranty longer.

Just seen them on ebay - http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-5232-2978-1/1?AID=9479574&PID=1428744&mpre=http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/purpleline-caravan-motor-mover-s-brand-new_W0QQitemZ220121824812QQihZ012QQcategoryZ76066QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem (sorry, don't yet know how to do the link thingy!!  []

Anyway, £599 plus £35 courier charge.  Looks OK but the seller has only 16 postive feedback and so far none for this item.

We'll probably just keep saving for one with a five year warranty - peace of mind is priceless - wait, if it's priceless, why am I having to save for it??!  [:o)]  This sucks!

Hi Mike, I too saw an add for the enduro in the caravan mag and went to our local dealer to get more info. He said that that are trying to get market share and therefore cutting their margins to get the name out there. He did say that the price would be going up once the intitial stocks are exhausted (could be salesman Bull S*** though) He offered the price at £699 + £200 for fitting. He said its comparable with the other major players however he only quoted me 12 months warranty. I can get the Powertouch at exactly the same price but with a 5 year warranty so I will be going down that path. After just coming back from Devon and taking nearly 40 mins to pitch into the most tricky gap ever, its made my mind up! Cheers, Rob

If you are going for powertouch remember to compare the price of the heavy duty model as the standard model is less powerful than most.
