Been storing in Rainford for a year up end July. I know we got it cheapish last time indoor for £250 but they have just sent msg to say they are increasing to £375 which is a BIG increase.

Made redundant early this year as well so obviously trying to watch the pennies, just wondering if you have any other suggestions. Cant put on our drive (Shared) and no family who could take it either.

With the increase may be worth utilising a seasonal pitch and pay extra and get use out of it.

Thats terrible £125 in one year, they dont deserve any bussiness increasing it like that i hope they read this if they do post on here. what was the reason for such a big increase (cant be inflation) its not that much. i have been told about a place at billinge for £250 outdoors. thing is these places have u by the bollocks cause their is the demand for places so they can fleece you like that.

They sent me an email stating the renewal was up and the new price was £375 then started waffling on about they have checked around and this is the going rate for indoor storage. Then said if you dont want to renew then they have a waiting list so basically get lost.

The thing that is annoying me is that we spoke to another guy who stores there about 2 months ago who tipped us off that they were increasing to £350 as they had their renewal and now we find two months later they have upped it to £375 for us.

Do you have the details for the Billinge site ?? Its worth having a look before we decide what to do?

The plus point with this indoor one we have is that we have a key to an electric door and we can come and go as we please alot of places have set times.
