  hello im thinking of moveing from an conway crusader fc to a caravan my car s max towing wieght is 1300kg and i would need a 3/4 birth . has anyone got any advice or reconmendations ie what type of van would suit

Hi Dave

We changed from a fc to caravan last spring - best thing we ever did!

We were in a similar situation where our cars max tow was 1300kg too and it was either a new van, or older van and change car.  In the end went for a new adria altea - we got the 5 berth.  Unladen it's 1030kg.  Nice vans and lightweight.

Done the very same thing this year. Loved the fc but got to admit that the van is more comfortable. Also driving onto a pitch and being fully set up in around 15mins is magic!!

Look at Bailey Discovery/Rangers or Avondale Dart's amongst others. As advised above pay attention to the weights - not forgetting noseweight - and you won't go far wrong.
