Hi
Can anyone tell me what type of adaptor i will need to fit my snakemaster to my towbar.(removable type)
I went and got the one for a swan neck towbar but upon fitting it realised that there wasnt enough drop on the adaptor.(ie)instead of pulling the snakebar up into the shoe on the caravan it just slid into it.The shoe is as high as it can go on the van.
Hope someone has an answer because ive just wasted 40 quid on 1 adaptor and dont want to do the same again
hoping for some good news
Many thanks in advance

PS this is also posted in the towing section so sorry for the dulplicate post but im desperate for answers....i go away in less than a week

We tow with a Fronters SWB and don't use a snakemaster at all. I asked on here and the advise was that we didn't need one. Weve towed our van a lot and not had any problems. Our Caravan is 21ft long. So don't know if it's different with a larger caravan?

Having towed without one down the m6 i must say side winds ,wagons ect havnt made any difference to way my frony behaved. Its just a piece of mind thing i guess. The van being 940kg and the cars max 2500kg i guess i dont realy need one but ive got one from my veccy so was going to use it.
Thanks for the reply
