I would buy the larger one, as the smaller one would cause problems if the ground is not level, whereas with the larger one you can always angle the front and back out a bit more.

It depends on how high you jacked up the van at the time you got 900cm. If the legs were just resting on the floor with a bit of lift. I would go for the 900cm +. you can higher a van about 20cm front & back. so you would have a range of 900cm to 940cm. so you would need the 899-930.

You can always higher a van. But not lower it. Unless its wheels were off.

I hope this helps

- You can't raise a van on the corner steady legs though!  Only by raising the wheels!

I would suggest you look at different makes of awning - as different manufacturers use different size ranges.

For an example, Isabella do a 900cm - which would be spot on for you.  They are the dearest make though - although loads of them around second hand.

I too would opt for the larger, a smaller one could be a problem if the pitch sloped down on the door side

I was advised that if the ground to ground measurement was on the cusp of 2 sizes the best option was to get the smaller size. On a sloping ground the awning can be adjusted so that the skirt can be level with the ground and the ladder bars used on a longer setting. If you go for the larger awning you might end up with the fabric not just the skirt resting on the ground.

Our measurement is 911 and we went for the 900-925 size and with this have found the fabric gets very close to the ground.

We had similar probs when we got our new tin tent two years ago. Having never had any probs with previous awnings on our old tin tent, we were in a quandary about the right size for the new one too as our measurement was 926cm

So.....we went for the 925-950cm only to discover on our first trip away with it that it was just w-a-y to-o-o-o-o-o-o baggy! Ended up having to get it professionally reduced and has since been fine, but more payout we could've done withoutShould've gone with the 900-925cm in the first place as we've since been advised that there is a teeny bit of allowance to have done for the smaller size!!!!!!! Just can't tell though can ya?
