Just got back from our dealers after having a look at the series 6 senator wyoming.

After getting my self in a state of excitement i have to say i was really disappointed.

I loved the new layout it feels a lot more spacious now that the wardrobe by the door has gone. BUT the quality really lets it down, I do stress that this is my personal opinion. I already have an 03 wyoming and going into the new one, well it felt souless, The seats are now a lot narrower and not as comfy, underneath the pelmets where the new lights are it used to be wood veneer, now its just a strip of cheap plastic that to be honest looks tacky.

The middle section of the cupboards has been thinned down and the inside of the panel is quite rough to touch.

The sales rep came in the van with someone as we were looking around and he was looking at the new swivel panel where the television will sit, as he did this the lock fell off, (bear in mind the caravan had only been delivered 10 mins before so hadnt had much use) not a very good impression.

We didnt like the outside as it now resembles the really old senators where the logos were just stickers instead of the embossed words. The new all in one smooth panel looks dimpled as you look down the side, the outside shower has done and when you go to look at the windows there are dent in the top corners where the windows have been fitted.

There are good points of course like the bigger shower, the removable freezer, the linen basket in the bathroom.

But thats my opinion see for yourself, i feel disappointed as i said and wont be buying one.

That's interesting, we have the Senator series 5 Indiana, and we have been very pleased, I have only seen the series 6 in a magazine, and I thought it didn't look as nice as ours.  I don't like the colour worktops, and the worktop on the other side above the heater, I see that it's just wood, whereas ours is the same formica worktop to match the others. 

I thought from the picture that the seats didn't quite look as cosy as ours, do you think it's because they are trying to make them lighter to tow, that they have had to compromise on quality to let the weight down?  I will go and have a nose round our dealer at the weekend.
