Hi, does anyone out there know where I can lay my hands on the manuals for an Adria 400B ( i believe it to be anyway). Just bought the van last week and can't seem to get certain things to work (fire etc.). New to this and don't really know where to start.

The Older Adria manual was very basic, it covered ALL models and was still only a few pages of A5. Most of the appliances though were added onnce imported and their own manuals then supplemented Adria's

So what don't work??

Just the fire and the ignition switches on the hob really. Not that the hob bit bothers me, I'll just use matches.

The fire only seems to have a nob on the top that gooes from 1 to 9. You can turn it, push it and pull it and nothing happens.

Well the fire will be either a Carver SPL3002 or a Truma 3002 fire, whichever their one in the same.

A manual for the SPL3002 is on my website, if you print 'odd' pages and put them back in the printer back to front and upside down, then print 'even' pages you should end up with a booklet!

The likely hood with the hob ignition is it packup years ago and a replacement ignition module is expensive to say the least, make sure all connections are good and the switch/button makes a connection. Other than that it's matches I'm afraid

I've a 400B. If you let me know what model (Fire/hob/fridge) you've got installed if it's the same as mine I can forward hard copies of manuals. I've also got the Adria Manual (I call it the "Thankyou for buying our caravan brochure") if you'd like a copy. Just let me know.

That would be great. I'll have a look at what makes they are. It's the trumatic fire but I've only seen Adria written on the hob. I'll go and check now.

Don't seem to be able to find anything on the hob or fridge. Truma fire and Carver grill is all I can find. Am I right in thinking that the van has to be perfectly level for the fridge to work?

Have a look inside the fridge, mine (Electrolux) has a number on the icebox door & a makers plate on the inside wall, left hand side at the bottom. I've only 'tested' the fridge (on gas) to make sure it lights, haven't had it running for more than a few minutes, but doesn't need to be 100% level to work on mains electric. I can't remember if it says anything in the manual. I'll get all the papers from the van tomorrow.

Ok thanks, I'll look tomorrow. Been preoccupied with the condensation in the front window (see other thread). Can't get the fire to work at all. Think it's caput. Doesn't matter about that.  The things on the hob that I don't get are the two nobs with numbers around them. The inner most two are for the gas to come through, but the outer two with the numbers around them and a picture of a flame or electricity symbol don't seem to do anything. Am I just being stupid! Also there is a switch to the right which is either on battery, mains or in between. Is this fo the fridge? Starting to wish I'd stuck with the tent!!

'Cramer' hob/grill I think, not Carver, the fire might be Truma but it don't matter the manual on my website is for the identical Carver version.

As for the hob, as I remember Adria's, it's got a steel pressing that runs the length of the work top with all the contol knobs/switches located in it. Can you take a picture?

Can't take pics at the moment. Something else that's broke. Your right though, steel all the way along. The switches are, left to right:

Ignition button, nob with numbers and pic of flame, then 2 nobs for the burners, nob with numbers and pic of lightning and then the rocker switch which shows battery - plug - or nothing.

So the fridge must be below the hob?

Ignition button, knob with numbers and pic of flame =  piezo ignition and Fridge gas valve..3-2-1 or high - medium - low

2 knobs for the burners  = 2 knobs for burners

rocker switch which shows battery - plug - or nothing.= selection switch for 12v, 240v mains or off

Knob before selection switch, this will be thermostat while on mains operation of fridge

I would expect the fridge to be an RM212F although any 212 manual will do
