Hi all

I almost had a Powrtouch mover fitted to my Bailey Burgundy this afternoon but in the end it will have to wait until next week.

The Fitter's instruction note said there may be a problem with the door and sure enough the pipes located underneath mean the mover cannot be fitted in front of the wheels almost directly under the door.

Fitting behind the wheels is also a problem as the spare wheel is causing an obstruction. Apparently there is a kit that will move the spare back a few inches and give enough room for the mover.

The options are
1) remove the cradle for the spare and fit the mover carrying the spare elsewhere. (in the car or the van presumably)
2) buy the kit which may be about £70 to £100 to move the spare the 3 or 4 inches needed making the mover a good bit more expensive

Has anyone had experience with this and how did you resolve it?

Its about time van manufacturers supplied the option of having movers factory fitted. They could negotiate better prices with mover manufacturers and any fitting problems could be sorted out.
