The trouble with the 390/290 awning & bailey vans is that the height of the van awning rail is to low. I mesured the height of the van & found that the height was less than that recommended by sunncamp so I cut off 2inches from the black poles & now find that it fits much better I know it sound wrong but it does work .
We did exactly the same for our Oklahoma and I can confirm that it made life a lot easier, although it will never be perfect, we only use it for week-ends and the full awning goes up for longer periods.
