Ours was camping on a site in France, when on to the large pitch opposite pulled a huge  Mercedes estate with German number plates, pulling a long caravan - followed by a white van.  From inside the caravan appeared some decking tiles, these were laid to form a large deck, out came the fullsize fridge/freezer, which was installed, out of the van came a large barbecue, television, table and chairs, pergola, small garden shed, and white picket and chain link fence which was installed around the deck!   Out came Frau and Herr German, Grandma German, Granpa German, and five little Germans, then out came the washing machine which was installed somewhere near the jockey wheel, and a washing line erected.  Up went three pup tents for all the little Germans, and each of these had a little 'enclosure' made of white chain link and a doormat outside each tent flap.

Mr German then tuned in the television, got out a Hi Fi record deck, and a small coffee table, and sat down with his beer.  Mrs German proceeded to do all the family washing, then hang it on the line.  This happened each morning, and then he went off fishing, whilst she cleaned and swept the deck, caravan inside and out (windows, panels, swept the roof), tents, inside and out, and then cleaned the white picket fence with a toothbrush - and I mean every morning.  Cleaning took all day, he came back from fishing, he watched TV and she ironed (on a full size ironing board).   What a relaxing holiday Mrs German had!!!!

The way to go!  Hope she poured the beer for him as fishing can be quite tiresome.

One of our first trips when the kids were very young was camping on Club Ruda at Croyd bay. Lovely site but very commercial. Our first night a walk into the village couple of beers for us and the kids fell asleep as soon as their head hit the pillow. By about midnight a couple had returned to there tent next but one to us. There were a few giggles then came a torrent of moans - It was like an excerpt from Porkies - It must have gone on for an hour or two at first it was really funny but they woke the kids up and were asking awkward embarrassing questions my wife and a few others shouted to be quiet. Even after the warden was called to their tent they still carried on. The next morning they got up had their breakfast as if nothing had happened - I felt embarressed for them. Mind you whenever he went to the washing up facillities he always seemed to have quite a few women follow him. I often wonder were the women complaining or just envious.

Well I have to say it was last weekend.  Stayed near The Lakes and some of my friends came with us as they were in tents.  The drink started flowing and so did the rain on the Friday night.   Next to the awning a massive puddle of rain started to progress and so did the mud.  A couple of my friends decided to have a naked mud wrestling fight.  It was so funny and was caught on the video camera.  I have never had so much fun and can't wait to go away with them again.
