just colloected our caravan just need to get all the thing to get started any body help please

i have some ideas but any 1 know

What did the caravan come with?

and we'll go from there.  lol.....

and what kind of touring your gonna do

heres a starter, no set order but top 2 esential..

wine and corkscrew

wine glass

When on a caravanning holiday, remember these essentials:

Smoke alarm with new batteries
Fire extinquisher and fire blanket
First aid kit containing relevant medicines
Rear registration number plate for caravan
Spare wheel and jack
Extension mirrors for driving
Caravan battery, electric hook-up lead and gas bottle
Wheelclamp, hitchlock and stabiliser
Caravan brace for corner steadies
Caravan step
Waste water container and pipe
Fresh water container and all connections
Chemical toilet with suitable chemicals
Awning complete with poles, pegs and mallet

You couldn't ask for a better starter list than the one above, it gives you all the basics & you can add to it to suit yourself. the only thing I'd add to it is to make the jack a Trolley jack, carry several piees of wood 3x2 down about 10" long & a short spirit level, you'll find it invaluable for levelling the van side to side & you won't get a bottle jack under the axle if you have a flat.

definitely agree with the wine and corkscrew!

If your new to towing the camping and caravanning club do great courses! we both did the manoevering course snd found it very useful even though I don't tow, I can help my other half with hitching on etc while she does the reversing! team work seems to work for us!

And the best part is – if you forget anything – your neighbour probably has it!
