Getting quotes on next van from caravan club and well, since I had my last van stolen, I would have to make sure an alrm is fitted and if I buy a new van, also a tracker.

Anyway - I have been referred to CIS insurance. OK the difference I suppose as I was looking at a nearly new caravan, I wont get a new van if this one is stolen (as long as its uner 3 years old). Taking that into account, still CIS is alot cheaper by about a £100 a year.

Questions though, am I correct I would have to have 2 forms of security on the van at all times?

Also - what are thy actually like when having to claim?

WE LOST THE FRONT LOCKER OF OUR LUNAR DELTA AND AS WE WERE NEAR ROBINSONS AT WORKSOP THEY ORDERED THE PART FOR US WHICH WE PAID FOR.  WHEN WE GOT HOME I CLAIMED FROM CIS  AND THEY PAID UP NO PROBLEM IN FACT WE SAVED THEM THE TROUBLE OF FINDING A SPARE PART.  BEEN INSURED WITH THEM FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS.  WE ONLY PAID FOR THE PART BECAUSE WE WERE GOING TO FRANCE WITHIN 2 WEEKS AND NEEDED IT QUICK MAYBE CIS COULD HAVE GOT THE PART FOR US I DONT KNOW WE HAD THE CHANCE AND ORDERED IT AND THEY PAID UP STRAIGHT AWAY.
