As we now have a twin axle, reversing into our storage is awkward to say the least!

Looked at motor movers but cannot justify £1500 and 30-40kg of weight eating into our payload allowance.

Looked at a bigfoot - seems reasonably priced, are they any good for twin axles and do they drain the battery alot? We usually rally at weekends using a battery for lighting and are usually left with 12.5 -12.6 volts - would this be enough?

I'd be interested to hear about anyones experience with these things.

Okay it will not work on a heavy caravan but how will it work on something lighter... I am looking at a folding camper in the 500 Kg bracket.  Would it manage that??

Had a big foot a few years ago to move a Landranger 6400 off the road and on to a flat drive. Used to struggle to get enough traction to turn and climb the drop curb pavement at the same time.

Would a front tow bar solve your problem? We have one and once you get used to it manouverability is much improved over a rear one. Not as good as a motor mover but a lot cheaper!
