The diameter of both tyres is all but the same so ok on that front, as a spare, but the two different size tyres run at different pressures for a given load so not ideal.
Problem could be the wheels rim width, this is in inches and will probably be 5" or 5.5", I don't know the widest tyre size that will fit a 5" but I do know a 5.5" will take 165 and 185 so you will be fine with the 175.
