Can anyone offer any advice on how to get rid of the road dirt from a caravan.
We have just given our new van a wash and found that it has got black streaky road film and soot from the exhaust on the front that wont budge with a good wash with soapy water.

Hi Old Bean, I'm accused of advertising so i will be very carefull--- it wouldn't do any harm to use FFF --- Cheers OMF ps and welcome to ukcs
We use Fenwicks, and it'll shift anything! ScampisOH and Little Scamp did ours on Sunday - I've not seen it yet, but I've been told I'll be impressed! All black streaks have gone and 'van is nice and shiney again! (and I don't work for Fenwicks, so can't be accused of advertising!!!)
we washed our van today for the first time since we got her (no facilities at storage) and we used Fenwicks caravan cleaner and she's come up a treat, we have also used the black streak remover as well and that's brilliant

May 13 - Cala Gogo, St Cyprien (didn't go, hubby too ill to travel)
May 14 Ranc Davaine
August 14 Les Sablons
August 13 - Camping Playa Brava, Pals
Have to say that I never believed the hype around Mr Fenwick's, and we just used ordinary car shampoo. However, two weeks ago, we bought and used Mr Fenwicks and I couln't believe the difference - we even managed to get a shine of our 'van without even polishing it.

Hi Will, thanks for that----but you will get even better results the more you use it----and stop polishing now you've realised it's not a car. Caravan cleaner has to firm but gentle--- not like car cleaner where any TFR will do---- Cheers OMF
after two weeks under trees at keswick i have just cleaned the roof with my trusted fenwicks.it was clean when we set off.keeps me fit though.now shiny again.
