Does anyone know the weight of a 5 birth trophy Ascot Van and any info on them are they decent build quality, i have found out they have gone out of business now but little else thankyou
From what information Glasses Guide gives the Ascot first appeared in 92 through 94 as a 2, 4 or 5 berth, in 94 the 'Royal' Ascot range was introduced and after 94 the 5B only continued as a Royal Ascot. No listing for a 5B 93 model? and none at all after 96 so the firm must have ceased trading sometime in this year.
The 5B came in several different lengths and in 94 also as twin axle model, un-ladened weights then varied from 813kg to 965kg for the T/A model. Payload for a 5B is quite high so I'd add 250-300kg to give an idea of gross weight, I would need the year, internal body length, or model for a closer guide weight.

hello again it is a 1992 trophy 5 birth with the to end lounges and the kitchen in the middle it looks about 18ft internally thankyou for all your time and effort the lady who is selling it has no idea and the plate is not next to the door where it usually is, this is not a problem to her she has a big 4x4 however there is a lot of interest and dont want to miss a bargain thanks lorraine
This may not help a lot, but we used to have a 1991 Trophy Olympic Silver, also a 5 berth. The plate on this was definitely by the door, so it is possible that the plate on the van you are looking at has come off. The weights of our van were unladen 828kg and maximum laden weight 1082kg. We owned two Trophy vans over the years and found them to be well-made, reliable caravans.
HI, i have just purchased my 2nd caravan lasy year and busy with rebuilding the inside from dampness damage. On the vin plate is states its 1100kg. I really dont know much about caravans and looking for information myself, i was told by description over the phone that mine is a trophy olimpic gold. But alas i still dont have any solid information about it.
