I've used the cravan cleaner and had no problems.

I've just bought some of fenwicks 'overwintering', has anyone tried that?

Hi Sam it makes the job easier for you if you let Ian do it -----for the hard to get at and very mucky places and black streaks just make up a solution 10-parts water to 1 part cleaner in a spray bottle that will clean most anything and gets to parts other cleaner can't-----PS l will keep my eyes open for your order CHEERS OMF

I have just pent a few hours giving the van a really good clean and noticed that there is a grey rubber moulded guttering along both sides of the van that also appears to act as a seal covering the seams and screw heads etc.

I used Silky to clean the rubber guttering and the grey rubber came up a treat.  What I really need to do now is pull the seal away from the caravan and and clean inside the channel and also clean the rubber seal on the underside as i noticed the green dirt/stuff has found its way under the seal.  Has anyone done this as a matter of course??? 

I have also noticed above the rubber trim/guttering there is a narrow plastic trim and this has discoloured with speckles in places (3 year old van) is there anything that is likely to be able to shift this discolouration from the narrow Grey plastic trim.

My house is on 3 levels so when the van is on the drive i can the roof everytime i enter or leave the house, or look out of the window!!!  I have tried a few dabbs of neat Fenwicks cleaner to see if that will shift it, however, it appears that the plastic has been impregnated, could this be the case.  has anyone had similar on their van???

I have had another go at the grey trim this evening, this time very carefull with neat Fenwicks and a green scouring pad, careful not to scratch the paint work and although it is much cleaner it is still impregnated. I think i will have to live with it!!!!

ours is a 2003 bailey 500/5,and cleaned each week but still have same marks as you on the gray bit and nothing as yet has moved them.the marks seem to be impregnated.i use fenwicks and as a rule will do the job.
