Hi,
Just changed my caravan for a Compass that has a Winterhoff WS3000 hitch. My previous caravans have had Alko hitches and i can't work out how to "flatten" the stabiliser handle when it isn't hitched to the caravan. I have tried pushing it down but it seems as though it is locked in position.
When hitcginh the stabiliser engages as you would expect and everything seems fine
I am looking to buy a hitchlock, but the type I want looks as though the handle is locked down in the towing position and as they are quite expensive i want to make sure I know it will fit.
Any help gratefully received
